There’s two versions of Revolution the faster version which you find on the Blue album 1967 - 70 and Revolution 1 which is on the White Album.

The first is faster and possibly speeded up so the key falls between B and Bb. The White album version is slower and is played in A.

Playing the John Lennon guitar part in A is quite simple. The verse and chorus are based on an A D E chord progression.

The pre chorus in Bm E Bm G A F# E 

In the notes I’ve included both versions of the intro as they differ slightly 

The George Harrison guitar part I’ve not included plays the riff an octave higher. I have though included an interesting fill from the White Album version

Brilliant track which showcases how to interweave a number of ideas into one song and keep the listener entertained throughout

The song is very interesting composition starting with a guitar hook based on Cm moving to G. The singing comes in with the chorus which has moved to C major moving threw F7#9 Bb6 Adim7 G F#dim7 G 

The verse moves back to C minor Eb7 Ab G7 back to Cm 

Don’t forget capo on the 5th fret
